“The statistics on death are quite impressive. One out of one die,” wrote George Bernard Shaw. We avoid talking about death and exercise our bodies to stave off the inevitable. At the same time, the many news stories, movies and books devoted to the subject indicate our enduring fascination with death, dying and the hereafter. At some point, each one of us is going to face eternity. This message looks at the Biblical, rather than pop-culture, perspective on the afterlife and explores what will happen in the first few seconds after we die: the resurrection, the judgment, and the separation.
